On Saturday, September 25th from 9:30am - 11:30am GVRRID will be hosting our Fall general meeting via zoom. While we were hoping that we'd be able to convene in person, the Board has decided to meet virtually to ensure that all in attendance are comfortable and can participate freely.

We hope to see you all there! More information and details regarding the agenda will be sent out closer to the meeting day so be on the look out for that.

Special Election for GVRRID VP - Call for Nominations

Published April 28, 2021 309 Views

Dear Rochester Area Interpreting Community,

As you may recall, we recently elected a Vice President for the upcoming term 7/1/2021 - 6/30/2023. However, despite her willingness to serve the community, Nikki Cherry is unexpectedly unable to serve. GVR is disappointed that we will not get the opportunity to have  her as our VP, but we wish Nikki much success in her future endeavors.

We must now announce a special election for the position of Vice President. We are currently seeking candidates and will have the election in mid-June (June 13 - June 19, 2021.) Whoever is elected will then serve as Vice President from July 1st, 2021 - June 30th, 2023.

Please send your nominations to elections@gvrrid.org by June 1st. We accept nominations of your peers, which can be done anonymously, but we also accept self-nominations!
