Hello GVRRID Members! 

 

We are quickly approaching the GVRRID Election season and we are currently seeking nominations for the positions listed below as well as volunteers to serve on the elections committee

 

As a member of the elections committee, you will monitor the email address for any nominations and then reach out to those nominees regarding their nomination. You will collect photos and bios from those running to be sent to the GVRRID voting members. In addition, you will set up and run the election runner software that we use for our elections. Following the election, you will send an email to the membership announcing the new board members. Those on the elections committee CANNOT run for any open board position. Please email elections@gvrrid.org if you are interested in joining the elections committee.

 

Positions for both special election and regular election:

  • President:
    • 1 year term - From election date through June 30, 2022
  • Vice President:
    • 2 year term - From July 1, 2021 through June 30, 2023
  • Treasurer:
    • 2 year term - From July 1, 2021 through June 30, 2023
  • Deaf Member at Large:
    • 1 year term - From election date through June 30, 2022
