POSTPONED - Get to Know the Monroe County Emergency Operations Center (past)

Due to the current pandemic, this workshop has been postponed. We will update everyone once we know a new date.

 

Description

This content only tour. Monroe County’s Emergency Operations Center is a specially designed facility where public organizations and private-sector agencies meet to decide and coordinate emergency response to community-wide disasters. This tour will cover the environment and hazards of Monroe County and how the EOC is equipped to respond to them. Also discussed will be some of the common issues faced in those responses.

Target Audience

Working interpreters and students in the greater Rochester wanting to learn about emergency operations in Monroe County.
