Kimberly Kelstone, BS, CI/CT

President

Kim is a mother, wife and staff interpreter for the National Center for Deaf Health Research. Originally she arrived in Rochester to pursue a BS in engineering, but once she met Deaf people and started learning ASL, that plan soon derailed. She received her AAS from NTID in 1992 and her BS from SUNY: Empire State College in 1998. She has worked in nearly every possible interpreting venue since 1991, including secondary and post-secondary education, graduate school, medical, community, government, business, performing arts, deaf-blind, and legal. She has lived and worked in several different states, and traveled through Europe. Kim has presented to interpreting audiences at the local, state and national level at both conferences and independent workshops. Some of her most memorable interpreting moments include "W;t" with Judith Light at the Kennedy Center, The Julliard: Interpreting for Broadway program and being a designated interpreter for a resident in Ob/Gyn.
